Greendale Cemetery's 2008 Photo Contest
|
Greendale Cemetery is sponsoring a photo contest which will run for
most of the 2008 calendar year. Contest winners will be announced and prizes awarded
in December 2008. Cash prizes will be $100.00 for 1st place, $50.00 for second place and
$25.00 for third place. Photos must be submitted to the Greendale Cemetery office by
November 1st, 2008. Entries submitted by mail must be postmarked no later than
November 1st, 2008.

| CONTEST RULES |

1. All photographs must be taken on Greendale Cemtery grounds and may include memorials,
nature scenes or other points of interest. Photographs of funerals or other private
burial matters are not permitted. Photos considered offensive or disrespectful will
be removed from the contest.

2. Color or black/white photos may be entered and must be at least 5" x 7" but no larger
than 9" x 12", exclusive of the mounting.

3. There is a limit of three photo entries per person.
|
4. Each submission must be mounted. Framed photos will not be accepted.

5. All photos must be labeled on the back with the following information:
entrant's name, address, phone number(s), and email address (if applicable);
title of photo and date taken.

6. Decision of judges is final.
|
7. Greendale Cemtery reserves the right to retain and use all entries as well
as duplicate photos for any Greendale Cemetery purpose including its website,
reproduction or any other promotional uses without permission from or payment
to the entrant. In addition, photos may be used for Greendale's fund-raising efforts
at some future date. If possible the photographer may be given a credit line.
