Welcome to Greendale Cemetery, a publicly owned, non-profit cemetery located in
Meadville, PA.
Greendale is the final resting place for more than 21,000 people. It has been
recognized by American Nurseryman's and Garden Design magazines for its beautiful
park-like grounds that cover over 200 acres.
Greendale Cemetery contains a vast amount of history. Buried here are
congressmen, soldiers, inventors, a Supreme Court Justice and the personal
physician to George Washington. Of course, every person buried here has a
story, so we invite you to come visit the office and grounds to learn more and
view interesting monuments, towering trees, and colorful plantings.
